Puerto Rico College Fairs, 1987 to Present

Comprehensive college tour program hosted at Puerto Rico high schools and local colleges.  College representatives travels around the island to provide first hand information about their academic programs.

Dominican Republic College Fair, 2001 to Present

Harrar Language Institute, 1993

Established English as a Second Language Program classes in Puerto Rico.  Secured and negotiated classroom space.  Established fee schedules.  Classes were held at Mayaguez (west) and Ponce (south).

Bermuda College Fair, 1993, 1994

Co-organized the International College Fair in Bermuda for 40+ United States and United Kingdom institutions of higher education.  This program was sponsored by the Bermuda Department of Education.

Central Intelligence Agency, 1991,1992

Prepared outreach/recruitment campaigns for Minority Internship & Fellowship programs to be based in headquarters at Virginia.  Recruitment mostly concentrated in Puerto Rico public and private high schools.

New England Association of Educational Opportunity Personnel (NEAEOPP) TRIO Day Task Force, 1990, 1991

Responsible for planning and organizing a regional event to celebrate National TRIO Day.  For two days, and estimated 400 junior/senior high school students throughout New England participated in college visits, college preparatory workshops, a college fair with over 70 participating colleges and universities.

New England Hispanic Scholarship Fund Committee (NHSF), 1989, 1990, 1991

Developed marketing campaign for the Annual Banquet.  Raised funds from various corporations with results, of $60,000+.  Reviewed and selected the regional Hispanic students who were slated to receive scholarship awards.

INROADS Central New England Inc., 1989,1990,1991

Assignment was to encourage student of color high school students in the state of Massachusetts who to become interested in pursuing careers in business administration.  Responsible for selecting student from the applicant pool.  Recommended students to corporate sponsors.  Organized Annual Student of Color College Fair with the participation of more than 80 nationwide college representatives.
